Sunset View

The house sits overlooking Sebago Lake. In the kitchen, there is no view of the lake, but by removing a portion of the wall and contouring it, ample seating, a better view, and space for appliances can be created. This design allows for full functionality in the kitchen while also providing entertainment space and a gorgeous view.

The cabinetry is by Diamond, featuring specialty laminate wood tones in Artic, with the Trantor door style that gives a more contemporary look with slab doors and drawer fronts in a Full Overlay Design. The countertop material is Quartz by Silestone, featuring Charcoal Soapstone in the Suede finish.

The design includes many drawers for convenient storage. Some drawers are deeper, giving easy access to cookware, while others are included for smaller items such as utensils, glassware, aluminum foil, or other important items.

There is also a full-size pantry with roll-out trays for food storage next to the refrigerator, and only a step away from the peninsula, which is great for kids to sit and be a part of the cooking experience without being physically in the kitchen while the chef is hard at work.
